MEET THE FOUNDER

Introducing Jesse Bullock Jr.

The pandemic revealed a significant vulnerability within the small business community that will persist without intentional mobilization and action amongst entrepreneurs within the communities that they employ, operate within and service.  Due to governmental policy and intervention, countless small businesses were driven out of business due to a lack of unified, economically empowered and invested small business leaders, hence my mission to reverse that trend, but let me first take a moment to introduce myself.

In 2004, I joined the United States Air Force as an Operations Manager within the Civil Engineering community where I had the responsibility of managing trades-based professions such as electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, generator technicians, pest management technicians, carpenters, and heavy equipment operators.  Throughout my 10 years on active duty, my primary function was to ensure that the multi-functional disciplines within the Civil Engineering organization seamlessly worked together towards accomplishing its core mission of delivering technical expertise and services to strengthen Air Force bases while enhancing combat power.

In 2014, upon honorably transitioning away from the Air Force, I moved into the corporate arena where I received a first-hand lesson on the value of the longstanding systems and processes that make the United States military the most competent and revered military force on the planet.  As a departmental logistics manager within a major retail distribution operation, I had the responsibility of leading 45 people, which introduced me to the profit at all costs corporate phenomenon that I refer to as the weaponization of data. While serving on active duty, the primary financial performance accountability measurement was if the full fiscal budget could be allocated and spent within the year to avoid future budgetary reductions, while in the corporate space, financial performance accountability measurement was managed in a manner that lacked humanity from my perspective.  The establishment and achievement of budgetary performance is a key element of operating and building a profitable business; however, the humanity is lost when people begin to be laid off due to negative payroll variances, or employee benefits being cut to increase shareholder return and executive bonus payouts.

With the data weaponization lesson fully understood, I transitioned into professional consulting in 2018 where I’ve gained a deep passion and sense of purpose for granting pardons to entrepreneurs who have involuntarily become prisoners of their passion by providing clarity, balance, and intentionality to how they design, implement, and manage the business systems and processes that underly their passion.  Through educating, coaching, implementation, and accountability, we help Solopreneurs and Owner/Operators to improve the financial performance of their businesses thus economically enabling them to invest back into their communities in various ways so that the next time that the government has an excuse to overreach, they’ll think twice due to the accountability that they will be held to by their united, economically empowered and invested small business communities.
